Where She Never Fails

There will be days you will wonder where her smile has gone and if you ask her, she will tell you that everything is okay.

It is.

She’s just doing what she’s always done. Letting those damned demons of her past pay her a visit to remind her that she’s come so far, but still has a way to go.

So far.

But in that moment, she is reminded of all the reasons she has never been good enough. She sees the mistakes she is still making and counts this moment as yet another moment of weakness.

Still …

Tomorrow, she will find her strength again and her smile will return as bright as it has ever been. She will push aside the insecurity and the fear. And she will be the strong one.

She has never failed at that.
